My clients have been anxious about upcoming changes.
At first, I was too, I was particularly nervous about video content.
Then I did a little studying and research on terms as well as what people with know-how were saying.
I am sharing three things about Videos that I believe will be useful for all of us when planning our video content.
ONE: Video is EVERYTHING
It is being preferred by all platforms today, so make sure to include video content in your brand strategy.
Don’t put it on the back burner, make it your priority. Plan your content, frequency, theme. Consistency is the key here.
TWO: Keep your content Authentic
I highly recommend instead of sharing someone else’s content on your pages, create your own content.
It is not about posting detailed, daily videos.
It is about posting consistent, valuable and sincere content that aims at educating people, adding value to their experience (Information or Entertainment) that brings them back for more without asking.
Don’t sound salesy, don’t pressure audience to come back.
Let the value in/of your content make them want to come back.
I strongly suggest, don’t go crazy using re-purposed content from other channels of yours, instead create content specifically for your Facebook audience.
Remember , content is king/queen/royalty. Re-purposed content is likely to be less visible on your network’s feed.
THREE: Don’t repeat too much, too often
Repeating the same content, language, pitch, over and over and over will get you in trouble, and not of a pleasant kind.
If there is something that is of great value and does need repeating, create multiple versions, add different examples and expand story from various tangents.
Make every repeat have its own unique value and standing.
The more users will learn, they will engage more and you will be fine.
and at the end of the day, remember, if you won’t stop and read or engage with something that does not catch your interest and does not add more value than the last time, why would you think someone else would stop and engage if you served them the same old soup over and over?
I do hope this adds some value and provides more confidence as you plan your 2020 content strategy for Facebook, or any other Social Media platform really.
Remember, the more clarity you plan your content with, the more authentic (truth) you remain, and show the courage to be the real you with resilience, your brand will show the passion, love and confidence and you will grow!
Clarity. Truth. Courage. Resilience.
