C. T. C. R — I also call it ‘Cut The Crap’ Tenet of my journey.

Here is how it has helped me in difficult, dark, and challenging times.

C stands for Clarity — When I am struggling because of a setback, obstacle or difficult situation in life, and feel demotivated, heartbroken and anxious — I STOP — and ask myself, ‘What is happening right now, how did I play a role in it and what are my real options?’ so I can achieve the clarity on three things

– Where do I stand right now?
– What am I working with?
– What do I want to do with it?

T stands for Truth — Once I understand my role, my options and have a decision on what I want to do next, I look for the Truth within. I stand in front of the mirror and speak out the truth I am standing in, aloud while staring into my eyes. We may not be able to share our whole truth with the world, even with our loved ones but we always know the ultimate truth we stand in. Looking into the mirror, confronting the truth, and speaking aloud helps us accept the reality without filters, shame, or cover ups.

I especially find this exercise very empowering as well as liberating as I then know the ultimate reality I am dealing with, even if it is that I am wrong, or I am incapable or the hurdle/obstacle/saboteur before me has more power than I can fight with. When you know your truth, you have spoken it aloud to yourself, staring right into your own eyes, no one can gaslight you and no one can make you doubt yourselves. I do this often, so I can always remain brutally honest with myself and the ground I stand on.

C stands for Courage — Achieving clarity on where things are, what role I played in them, and knowing my truth including my strong and weak points, helps me find the courage to operate from a place of integrity, strength and readiness to start or re-start taking action on things I truly want to achieve or change in any aspect of my life.

It prepares me for the obstacles I might face in my path, for the failures I may experience and the disappointments I might have to face. When you are ready, you know you will handle almost any adversity as an anticipated part of the process towards your mission.

R stands for Resilience — No matter how courageous you are, there will be circumstances that will try to break your spirit.

– Naysayers will try to bring you down.
– Enemies will try to defeat you, so you give up and leave.
– Manipulators will try to take advantage of you.
– Bullies will try to break your spirit.
– Trolls will try to silence you into hiatus.

Which is where, if you are mentally, psychologically, and resourcefully prepared, you will be resilient, unwilling to give up and yet know how to balance your journey with taking a pause, walking away from the toxic and establishing firm boundaries with abusers all the while staying focused on your goal.

The reason I also call my CTCR Tenet as ‘Cut the Crap’ because if you look at it, it does cut all the crap from within and outside that helps you stay on your path, look after yourself and know when to walk away from distractions so you can walk towards your decided mission and Dream Big, Make It Happen, on your Hyper-Intentional Terms.

CTCR has saved my lifetime and again.

I hope you can take away something from it that might become your source of power and re-charge on Your Hyper-INTENTIONAL Terms too!
